These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Cal Crew mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The Service

Cal Crew helps you track your daily calories and macros, set a personal goal, compete with friends on a shared leaderboard, and optionally analyze food using AI. The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Not Medical Advice

Cal Crew is a wellness and tracking tool, not a medical device. Goals, estimates, and AI analyses are for general informational purposes only and may be inaccurate. They are not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making health decisions, especially if you have a medical condition.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure. You agree to provide accurate information and not to impersonate others or misuse crew features. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.

4. Acceptable Use

• Do not use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems.
• Do not upload content that is illegal, abusive, or infringes others' rights.

5. Subscriptions (Cal Crew Pro)

The App offers auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock Pro features. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings. Prices are shown in the App before purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Your use of subscriptions is also governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA).

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its name, logo, design, and content, is owned by Cal Crew and protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal purposes. You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as food photos).

7. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services (including Apple, Google Firebase, RevenueCat, OneSignal, OpenAI, Open Food Facts, and USDA FoodData Central). Your use of those features may be subject to those providers' terms. See our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cal Crew shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including reliance on any calorie goal, estimate, or AI analysis.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from within the App.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the App. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
